Topographically, the EPC consists of mostly cleared, subdued relief land, with local incised gullies which flow only after rain. Sandy soils drain quickly in the area allowing access to resume after heavy rainfall after a brief repose.
At this stage no environmental studies have taken place, environmentally sensitive areas have been avoided in NEC's exploration and EIS are not necessary for the intial scope of NEC's investigation. On the upside groundwater studies and environmental impact studies will commence once the feasibility of the resource has been confirmed.
