Northern Energy Corporation, based in Brisbane Queensland Australia was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in February 2005 after an initial capital raising of $4million.

Northern Energy Corporation has a number of granted exploration tenements in Northern NSW & South-East / Central QLD. These are known to contain both coking and thermal coals. Currently the company has quantified tonnage in both Inferred Resources and Exploration Targets >700Million tonnes with further exploration upside.

The company has four active projects covering the exploration tenements and is looking to progress these from initial resource identification along the project development towards mine development.
